A40 bike path between Eynsham and Witney, by Barnard Gate (opposite Ambury Farm).

Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 12:17, Friday 14 January 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

A tree along the path recently shifted due to strong winds, and now one of its thick branches is at head height over the bike path. Its end has been broken off, so sharp, jagged edges are a serious hazard for any cyclist - especially in dim light or in dark conditions. It was too thick for me to trim myself - it needs someone with proper tools. Please take care of this ASAP - you can see from my photos how someone cycling at, say, 15mph could seriously injure themselves if they ran into it
