Hedgerow is overgrown and brambles protrude into roadway. walking and cycling dangerous as these catch (at eye level) when passing especially if vehicles are approaching the verge is over grown and cannot be used to escape

As a Checkendon PC member I've looked at the site and agree the problem is one that will affect pedestrians and cyclists the most. However, the scratching of car paintwork is a very real possibility given how narrow the lane is. Consideration must also be given to seeing to this before the possible disturbance to nesting birds also becomes an issue. We do not currently have any contact details for the landowner(s).

Thank you for your report we are currently trying to establish the land owner responsible for the maintenance of the hedgerow concerned,once established we will request they cutback the vegetation
