Pavement damage.

Reported via mobile in the Pavements category anonymously at 14:04, Friday 7 January 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The pavement has been marked up for repair for over a year. The cone marking the fault is also an obstruction to the many elderly and disabled residents in seacourt road. Some of them have started pushing wheelchairs in the road to avoid it, others squeeze past risking tipping over as there wheels dig in the soft grass verge. This needs fixing fast before someone is injured.

  • Thank you for you report and here is an update. I have re-visited the location and noted that a Virgin Media team had visited the site, partly buried the exposed cable, but not repaired the site around it. I have emailed them again, on 21 March 2022, regarding this issue. I was informed that they have now raised a new job asking for these works to be completed ASAP.
