Change of priority over railway bridge

Reported via desktop in the Highway Schemes category anonymously at 12:00, Wednesday 5 January 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Please reconsider reversing the right of way on the railway bridge at Steventon Hill, which currently gives priority to downhill traffic. When approaching from the village it is not easy to see if traffic is coming down the hill and I have already seen a number of cases where downhill traffic has needed to stop as a result.

Reversing the priority would also be in line with Highway Code guidance which states "Give way to road users coming uphill whenever you can."
