Long trench across road caused by surface breakup, several other potholes and sinking drain all now extremely dangerous for cyclists causing them to veer away or be dismounted by hitting them unawares. These have been here for some time and no action seems to have happened despite the risk to road users.

    Drain has been smoothed out but not levelled. Still big drop. Many iron works on this stretch are sinking or rising above surface. Whole if broad street into town is dangerous as cyclists forced wide into road with buses coming from both directions.
