Street light illuminates bedroom

This street lamp was put in a couple of years ago, I asked at the time of it could be moved further over so it wasn’t right in front of the bedrooms. I was told it couldn’t be. It’s been an ongoing issue as it lights the front bedrooms up when it’s on and we’ve had enough of struggling to sleep. Can a guard be put on it could it be moved?
