  • Thank you for adding the shields last week. The new LED bulbs are even brighter than before and even though the shields have improved the light in the bedroom the lounge is lit like a beacon. These pictures were taken at 11pm on Saturday 9/4/22 night. The street lights don't go off in the night, even at 1.45am on Sunday morning they were all still on in Ironstone Hollow and yet the main road through the village is in complete darkness. All street lights were supposedly going off around midnight in the village and back on 5.30am (I think). Light pollution is unnecessary, especially with the energy and climate issues. What else will you do to help?
