Traffic calming island

This pinch point is in the wrong place, several times I've come across it and been unable to see oncoming traffic due to the large trees and utility vans parked on the grass verge opposite. This means having to edge out into oncoming traffic. Additionally this is not illuminated at all and now the evenings are darker, it is incredibly dangerous. This should be removed as a priority.

Dear Mr Pearce-Jones,
Thank you for your report and concerns raised within. We are working closely with the developer to have these works completed as soon as possible.
The completed works will have bollards and street lighting to illuminate the cushion to provide enhanced visibility.
The current traffic management is within the guidance and regulation standards, providing advance signage to alert drivers before approaching the cushion.
Recently an independent Road Safety Audit has been undertaken to ensure the current condition and location of the works are safety compliant.
The operation of the cushions around Brize Norton were all observed during the audit and from observations, drivers were reducing speeds and manoeuvring safely around the cushions.
Kind regards
