Tree Strike due to protruding branches onto highway

Previous occasion reported on 16/11/21 - ref ENQ21910251 still no action was taken. A bus has now collided with the same tree sustaining extensive damage to the upper deck. A nearby vehicle was also extensively damaged as result of the falling branch. When will the council take these reports seriously? Luckily there were no injuries reported.

  • Hi thanks for your report. The issue regarding the Tree on Burchester Avenue was investigated by a HIGHWAYS INSPECTOR and reported to the TREE TEAM at 12:39, Tuesday 23 November 2021.
