Overweight lorries using Blackthorn Road

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Consistent illegal use by overweight lorries travelling down Blackthorn Road. They are NOT delivering locally.

Multiple reports to OCC Trading Standards but without feedback on those reports (fines?) or without any enforcement action by Trading Standards to see the problem.

  • How long doess it take to get an update? I have reported this issue directly with OCC and made more than 10 reports. I have received from OCC an acknowledgement on 12th Noveember saying they will reply to me but still no update. And STILL the lorries keep coming past. Its time to give me a real and meningful reply.

  • The following reports of overweight HGVs have heve been given.

    On 12th November I asked for update - NOTHING recived in follow up.

    HOW LONG do we have to wait for OCC to do something about the constant overweight lorries illegally using Blackthorn Road in Launton?

  • Thank you for your report. We are looking into this and potential ways stop restrict the amount of heavy traffic that passes through Launton.
