Street light not working

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The street light directly outside Frank Wise school is not working and as such the drive is very dark and particularly difficult for pedestrians as the path is rather bumpy.

  • Hi There, This light is still not operational and means that staff leaving Frank Wise School are walking the first part of Hornbeam Close in total darkness now that the nights are longer. Please can you advise when this is likely to be resolved as we are now in the eleventh working day since it was posted. Thanks

  • It is now well over a month since this fault was notified and it has still not been rectified. The lack of lighting at the bottom of Hornbeam Close is a Health and Safety risk due to the absence of other suitable sources of light and as such those walking on the path after dark are of risk of injury, particularly due to the unevenness of the public path. Please can this be addressed as a priority.
