Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
This street light on the corner of Grove Road/Peppard Road opposite Sonning Common Garage hasn't been working for months - it's now causing safety issues at the junction for traffic and pedestrians, particularly those walking from after school clubs from the primary school.
Ref: 00394403 Thank you for your report, this has been logged on our management system for repair, our contractors will aim to have this repaired within 7 working days. If it is found to be a supply fault this will be passed to the local DNO operator to attend.

Please replace with accurately directed LED to reduce light pollution and global warming. We value the accurate direction of illumination. The limited amount of sideways scatter, and the limited glare from a distance, all help road safety, and pedestrian safety. We would prefer to see the stars, not street-lamp glare. The zero upward wastage is one step toward being able to see the stars properly again. The use of LEDs reduces global warming. Thank you.
