The crossing at the corner of Ock Street and Conduit Road, Abingdon, is used by many families for school. Recently, people from six households needed to cross the road and a cyclist went into a child. The crossing needs to be made clearer, so that road users can stop safely and in time for the busy crossing.

Thank you for your report, upon inspection we can confirm that this follows the guidance set out by the department for transport. At this time OCC do not see a problem with this crossing point and do not have the necessary funds to upgrade this crossing point to a zebra crossing or signalised crossing.
