The bridge was recently repaired after a considerable time when workers retrieved capping stones from the brook and cemented them in place. The problem was that despite my reporting the issue with the original problem, the remaining cap stones were not removed and recemented. As a result two of the loose cap stones have been pushed off the bridge. They lie unbroken in the grass on the bank and are NOT in the water. As can be seen in my photos other cap stones remain loose and unless cemented in and having the gaps made good, they may be pushed off too by whoever is causing the vandalism.
