Path leading to pedestrian crossing is obstructed by the Foliage from hedges/trees. Causing problem for all users but especially visually impaired and parents pushing prams/buggies.

  • Thank you for your report. I have visited the site you pinpointed on the map, on Cumnor Road B4017 (not Lamborough Hill), The Willows to Wootton Village road section, see photos, and appraised the issue that you have identified. This overgrown vegetation, unfortunately, doesn't meet our current, immediate, intervention criteria, so I cannot arrange a quick repair. I have requested it be placed/logged onto the list of HATER (vegetation) jobs that will be assessed for inclusion in future programmed works, subject to there being no conflicting works and sufficient funds. We will continue to monitor this site during our routine inspections.
