Flooding of the Close is occurring more frequently and most of the water and leaves run in from St Andrews Road (its north side). It is overload for our soakaways. Can you please check the drains in St Andrews, and ours too?

I am honorary secretary of the Orchard Close Residents Association which consists of the 5 owners of the terrace in the Close, 2 of the houses to the corner of St Andrews Road, and one cottage fronting Singers Lane with back access across the Close, all of whom I am representing n this approach to yourselves. This is for your added information. We are all anxious about this matter. Could you let me know progress please?

In your assessment of the Orchard Close/St Andrews Road situation please could you look at the safety issues for vehicles leaving Orchard Close to enter St Andrews Road. To the right cars are parked 24/7, totally obstructing the view until sufficiently into the Road. It is extremely dangerous snd nerve wracking. We seriously request a double yellow line is applied here to join the “access required” white line at no.4 St. Andrews Road. Thank you for your attention and I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for your report we are currently arranging for the blocked gullies in St Andrews Road to be cleared, which as a result should reduce the water run off onto the adjacent side roads. With regards to the request for the yellow lines to be extended.May I suggest you contact Henley Town Council to request for the Oxfordshire County Council traffic team to investigate further.
