Lack of chevrons warning of 40mph restriction

Reported via desktop in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category by Alan Plumb at 12:14, Mon 25 October 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

We note that the approach to Adderbury's 40mph limit has chevrons painted on the road to warn drivers. The Milton 40mph is disregarded by some drivers and we believe that painted warning chevrons on the road prior to the restriction may assist? Can this be arranged?
