All manholes blocked causing severe flooding
Reported via desktop in the Drainage category anonymously at 11:33, Thu 21 October 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
As emailed to Dan Depp, all of the manholes between Westleigh Drive and 80 Kennylands Road are completely blocked, as well as connecting pipes, meaning surface water has nowhere to drain except down the incline on Kennylands Road pooling in severe flooding outside 84A Kennylands Road where the drains linked to a borehole cannot cope with the amount of water. A team jetted one manhole last week but all 16 manholes between Westleigh Drive and 80 KR are blocked and need clearing, especially as the proposed development on the south side of KR will affect the surface water drainage. I have a further 13 photos of the manholes but the FMS site has a limit of 3 per report.

Thank you for your report, I inspected the location yesterday and have arranged for the x12 blocked gullies identified yo be cleared within the next 28days or sooner. I have also identified the grips / drainage ditches which also require clearing .This has been emailed to the drainage technical officer to investigate further.
