Where Kelly’s & Hope & Clay are doing ground/building works the surface of Dunmore road is covered in mud ~ a danger in the wet & going into winter surely they have a duty to keep the ring road clean

Dear Claire,
Thank you for reporting this. Our Site Inspector has spoken to the Developer and reminded them of the importance of keeping the roads clear of mud. He was on site yesterday and the Developer was sweeping all the areas to the entrance to the site and confirmed the road was clean. Please note, the requirement and enforcement of wheel washing facilities for a development is the responsibility of the District Council’s, as they have the powers to enforce planning conditions within the planning permission.
