Pavement blockage

Reported via desktop in the Pavements category anonymously at 17:31, Saturday 16 October 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Advertising signs outside shops in Banbury Road, Summertown. I am sympathetic to the need to boost retail sales, but the great number of signs on the pavement in this area, coupled with the growing amount of pavement space being taken up with cafe seating is also a problem. This is compounded by the fact that the area has a significant traffic of users with various mobility aids, and also child buggies. It is difficult to negotiate and also impossible to keep a safe distance from other users.
