Dangerous misleading roadmarkings
Reported via mobile in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 18:14, Thu 14 October 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
A long standing problem at Littlemore Roundabout. Intersection of Eastern bypass A4142 with A4158. Westbound traffic approaching on Eastern bypass from Cowley and wanting to turn right at the roundabout onto A4158 to travel into Rosehall. If drivers correctly position themselves in right hand land to turn right they are forced to keep on the inside of the roundabout and can not exit safely. Other traffic filters in to the left of the driver and does not allow them to make a safe exit without cutting across other vehicles. The safest thing to to us to continue round the roundabout again. I have had to do this several time in the past few weeks. The roadmarking need updating to ensure that all lanes of traffic are directly safely around the roundabout.

Umm..Numerous potholes & other Fix My Street report issues for this particular roundabout previously reported, of which were CLOSED (as fixed). Would suggest all reports over at least past year and a half be reopened for investigation, reviewed and addressed accordingly. Safety 1st.
This a very high volume traffic area. LTN's have attributed to the increase of traffic being pushed away from the City Center and near surrounding streets. This therfore, increasing the already conjested traffic being pushed further towards this (also a) "residential area".
Thank you in advance for attention to the matters as reported.
