Street lamp on path, attached to telegraph pole not lit
Reported via desktop in the Street lighting category anonymously at 14:13, Fri 8 October 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Pole has number 6617007 - may be telegraph pole number not streetlight number, light has not been working for the past 2 weeks, and is on a dark footpath behind Summer Fields School which is used by many local people including schoolchildren. I reported it by phone last week but it is still not mended. I believe it is a priority light.

This lamp is still unlit this evening, 12 October. The one next to it, on telegraph pole 6617008 is now also unlit. That is 2 lamps next to each other on a very dark footpath/cyclepath heavily used, especially by schoolchildren. They are correctly located on the adjoining map. (The string of lampposts running north from the two unlit ones to Lonsdale Road are numbered 21 - 27.) N.B. It is extremely hard to locate and read the lamppost numbers.

Wednesday 13 October, both lamps still unlit. No evidence of repairs, so presumably contractor has not attended. This is a dark path running between playgrounds and fields, where good lighting is essential. It is an official cycle route, and is used by children from several north Oxford Marston and Summertown schools. These lamps require immediate attention.

This is now very urgent. Reported by me and by John Howson, our local councillor. It is on a very dark path used by many schoolchildren among other locals of all ages including very elderly, and is a cycle path as well. The lamps are by a bend in the path - cycling north it's very hard to see where the path goes. How difficult can it be to fix this!!!!
