Is this really a Failed Lamp?
Reported via desktop in the Street lighting category anonymously at 21:13, Mon 27 September 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Street light 4, on Wootton Road, just South of John Mason School, switched off as I passed it in the early hours of Saturday 25th September. The time was exactly 1 am. THIS LEADS ME TO WONDER WHETHER IT IS PROGRAMMED TO SWITCH OFF INTENTIONALLY IN THE EARLY HOURS.
Previously, this lamp was reported as part of Job 00387475 at the end of June, when I found it out-of-action after midnight.
Since my earlier report of 22 February about this lamp, I have seen it lit on many occasions but I also regularly see that it is out-of-action again after midnight. This lamp seems to work only intermittently, unless it is being switched off because it is located just outside a complex of retirement flats.
