Tactile paving on pavement

Reported via mobile in the Pavements category anonymously at 09:37, Friday 24 September 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Please can you check that the tactile (segregated) paving that has been laid on the bend of the pavement (cycle path) is safe. As you ride down the cycle path on a bike and over the segregated tactile paving your bike tires get caught in the grooves and this could cause someone to come off their bike especially when weather conditions are icy. The grooves on this particular paving are too thin and maybe a wider segregation is needed. These are the new tactile paving laid recently.
