Thank you for your report. I have visited the site you pinpointed on the map, on the corner of Glebe Road & Oxford Road junction, Cumnor, and assessed the issue that you have identified. This overgrown grass and "4 ft high nettles" is not affecting the vision splay as there is clear visibility at this junction, see photos. So as there are no safety issues here I am closing this report.
We will continue to monitor this site during our routine inspections. If you notice that the issue gets worse, please open a new report. Find out more about highway repairs and how we assess risk https://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/ residents/ roads-and-transport/ street-maintenance-z/ road-repairs.
Please Note: This grass verge/vision splay was cut in June, see FixMyStreet report:
https://fixmystreet.oxfordshire.gov.uk/ report/ 2762629
and urban verge grass cutting is one cut per year. Also note that with grass cutting we have to take into consideration Environmental/Biodiversity as well as safety issues, safety, however, being our primary concern.
