Water is running down the hill, this becomes a problem when it freezes causing sheet ice to form on the road.

  • As requested I contacted the environment agency regarding this problem but they advised that this is an issue for OCC to sort out. To avoid the ice problems of previous winters this needs to be addressed urgently.

  • Above is still unresolved, despite being marked 'urgent'. Springs from a private property overflow onto the road causing sheet ice. There is a water drain that crosses the private drive to prevent this from happening. However, the drain gets blocked often and needs regular maintenance by the homeowner.
