School buses blocking road
Reported via Android in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 07:31, Friday 10 September 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Can the school buses be made to park in their own cat park off Radley Road rather than parking upto 4 long on Oxford Road making the traffic back up the road and sometimes dangerous to attempt to get past them. Please fit double yellow markings so they can no longer sit for upto 30 minutes each day causing more traffic chaos.

The installation of formal waiting restrictions (yellow lines) requires the implementation of a ‘Traffic Regulation Order’ which in involves a long and expensive legal process including full consultation, I regret that Oxfordshire County Council could not fund such a scheme at this time.
It should be noted that if a vehicle is parked in either a dangerous position or in such a position as to cause an obstruction these are offences under Section 22 of the Road Traffic Act 1988, this legislation is enforced by Thames Valley Police.
