Street light obscured
Reported via desktop in the Street lighting category anonymously at 15:21, Mon 6 September 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
I reported on 4/2/2020 that the street light outside 1, The Black House, Henwood Ox1 5jx, was obscured by the high hedge. The light shines into the hedge itself. Nothing has been done, and with the nights drawing in, and this property being on a sharp bend, it is important for pedestrians to be able to see where they are going. Particularly as there is a hump in the pavement. How many hours of electricity have been wasted? And nothing done?

I have attended site, and spoken to resident... she would like to converse with parish council as to possible solutions, and would appreciate face to face conversation, rather another visit from a council officer informing her of a complaint. please bring the matter up with the resident.

Hedges not cut back as requested. Only signs done. Not as I asked, as it’s very difficult to cross the road when getting off the bus and returning to White Hill Lane. I think someone needs to visit to assess the situation.
