Hazardous condition to westbound carriageway between Tilbury Lane and Evelyn Close
Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 11:22, Saturday 4 September 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The condition of the road in this location is now a significant hazard to cyclists. This is more apparent now that the schools are back and more inexperienced cyclists are on the road in this location. Cyclists are either swerving to avoid the damaged road surface (the damage extends for circa 100m) or are getting knocked off balance if they ride over the damaged road. There are multiple potholes and poor previous repairs.

Thank you for your report. I have visited the site you pinpointed on the map, in front of 11 Eynsham Road. I have marked up the one or two potholes that just barely met our current intervention criteria. Most of the potholes, however, that you are referring to, don't meet this criteria - aren't wide or deep enough - but I submitted them all, for consideration, for repair anyway, see photos. I can't, however, guarantee they all will be repaired. We will continue to monitor this road during our routine inspections.
