Large dead tree limbs falling off danger to pedestrians, cars, and my house

Reported via mobile in the Trees category by Christopher Ian gascoigne at 07:30, Friday 3 September 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Large, dead tree with rotten limbs, (which are falling onto a public footpath, and the A420 Stratford road) I am fearful that if it becomes windy it will fall on my house or kill a Walker, Drayton has other tree issues with trees adjacent to Arden close overhanging the main highway too, I can foresee a life threatening situation come winter if this is not addressed immediately

  • We have visited site and assessed the trees in their location. The overhanging trees present are on land maintainable by the adjacent landowner and not by the County Council. We have sent correspondence to the landowner, detailing the problem and advising that they carry out remedial works to resolve the situation.

    Many Thanks for your enquiry.
