Ragwort growing along entire verge (A4260), the seed is blowing onto our neighbouring grass field. We have spent >£2000 on sprays to eliminate it but it keeps re-infesting the field from the verge. The field is for hay and grazing and ragwort is very poisonous to livestock.

  • Thank you for your report. We have tried to contact you but it looks like there was a communication error on our part. Please accept our apologies for this.
Our Highways Officer has been on site but could not locate the area with the Ragwort. Are you able to provide more specific location details please? For example '100 yards south of Tackley junction' (or something similar) so we can arrange for it's removal asap.
    Thank you.

  • 400/600m from Sturdys Castle the same side of the road towards Banbury. The footpath sign in the photos shows its location.
