Corner of Besselsleigh Road and Sandleigh road, Wootton

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Pavement on the junction of both roads is obstructed by vegetation which needs cutting. Reports are made every year about this place. It is very difficult for disabled people to go around the corner. Please cut it.

  • Thank you for your report. I have visited the site you pinpointed on the map, side and front of 39 to 45 Sandleigh Road. Besselsleigh Road junction, see photos, and assessed the issue that you have identified. The overgrown vegetation, that you have described, unfortunately, doesn't meet our current immediate intervention criteria, so I cannot arrange a quick repair. I have requested for it to be placed/logged on the list of Minor Civils/HATER jobs to be assessed for inclusion in future programmed works, subject to there being no conflicting works and sufficient funds. We will continue to monitor this site during our routine inspections.
