Road still closed. Lack of information
Reported via desktop in the Current Roadworks - live information category anonymously at 11:49, Fri 13 August 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later
Thames water leak. Supposed to have been fixed yesterday the 12th as per the road works website https://one.network/ uk/ oxfordshire The incident has been removed from the website now so it looks like the road is open. It is not. A major thoroughfare and it looks like nothing is being done. Chaos.

This road closure is marked as affecting Tothill on one.network. The pin is positioned at the Wychwood Inn. Both of these are incorrect. The road closure is to the A361.

It is now over a week since the A361 through Shipton under Wychwood was closed due to a water leak. That was fixed immediately but the road is still closed and there is no sign of anyone even thinking of repairing it. This is a busy road and the heavy traffic is being redirected through either AScott under Wychwood or Milton under Wychwood , neither of which have the road capacity to carry the amount or size of vehicles that this entails. It is totally unacceptable that over a week on it is still closed.
