Ash tree which is dying. The pin is not exactly correct - the tree is in the left hand verge just below the culvert where the brook goes under the road, when facing north.

The tree is definitely diseased and should be investigated before autumn comes so that this can be agreed and action planned.

I have visited site and assessed the trees in their location. The trees present appear to be low over the highway, however I was not able to see any significant signs of Chalara fraxinella present on inspection. The trees present are on land that does not have highway status and is therefore maintainable by the adjacent landowner and not the County Council. I have sent correspondence to the landowner, detailing the problem and advising that they carry out remedial works to the low trees over the highway.
Many Thanks for your enquiry.
