Totally against the Highway Code

Reported via mobile in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category by Michael Lawrence at 19:21, Sun 8 August 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The sign says Barton left lane this is against all Highway Code rules Barton and A40 should be middle lane only. London right lane Left lane should be Headington and straight on towards Witney not Barton I almost hit a car in the side he came from the left in front of me I was in middle lane going straight over to the direction of A 40 west towards Witney direction. I will hold Oxfordshire county council responsible for any accident I have the law clearly states left lane left turn or straight over not turn right whoever designed this should not be working in a council dept. They have no idea and your council will be held responsible.the Barton in the left needs blanking out and an arrow in middle lane to the right with arrow straight on this has got to be the most stupid bit of traffic management I have ever seen

Council ref: ENQ21902878
