This street light is not working

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Street light not working on the corner of Frax Close with the A415. It is on the small green with lime trees in front of the church. The Speed Indicator Device attached to this lamppost and connected to the power supply is also not working.

  • Thank you for your report, to enable us to log the fault to the correct unit can you please advise using the attached map the street light number you are referring to. If the unit is not on the map this would not be owned/maintained by Oxfordshire County Council and would need to be reported to the developer/landowner direct. Unfortunately we do not keep records of private lights.

  • I cannot see a number on this street lamp or the one the other side of Frax close to the left of photo 2 attached. The first photo shows position of lamp at right side of Frax close ( direction Marcham & Abingdon). Both lamps have been in place for a considerable number of years and it’s my understanding as a parish councillor that all these lamps alongside the A415 in Kingston Bagpuize with Southmoor are the responsibility of OCC highways Thankyou for your help with this matter Virginia Grant
