Street light directly outside bedroom window causing too much light pollution
Reported via mobile in the Street lighting category anonymously at 05:28, Fri 6 August 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The street light has been in place the entire time I’ve lived here for the past 4 years and it’s been unbearable, causing a lack of sleep due to the bedroom being flooded by unnatural orange light despite a blackout blind and trying various window fixtures. Please move the street light to a different location that isn’t causing unacceptable light position into residents bedroom windows.

Hi, I am confused. Initially you said you have contacted a contractor to add a shield to this light and apologised first the clear issue this is causing. Now you are saying this won’t be considered later in the financial year and subject to funds. This is an urgent issue that needs fixing that is causing unacceptable levels of light pollution for residents. Please respond and confirm this will address urgently.
