Blind bend needs urgent attention

Reported via desktop in the Grass and Hedges category anonymously at 16:29, Monday 2 August 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Yet again the small section of hedge on this bend is too high and overgrown. It’s impossible as a pedestrian to see to safely cross from Radley road to the footpath leading to Radley/Whites lane. The adjoining field belongs to Radley college and the farmer who farms it has cut the hedge in the past.

Almost every year this hedge becomes a problem resulting in one of these reports.

The contact is Mr Ashton, the bursar at Radley College on 01235 543000. He can contact the farmer to request a cut.

  • This report is not the responsibility of Oxfordshire County Council. However I have contacted the farmer and he has said this has not been cut because of the bird nesting season, he also said he will get someone to cut it with hand tools within the next two weeks and then attend with the tractor soon after.

    State changed to: Investigation complete
