Street light out

Reported via mobile in the Street lighting category anonymously at 13:01, Mon 2 August 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This street light is out, and the area is pitch black without it. I actually bruised my arm on the bicycle restrictor last night as it’s that dark.

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • This was reported in August - it is now November and it is DARK by 5pm. My wife and I are unfamiliar with the area and were walking through this alleyway at 8pm on Wednesday 10th November. We did not know of the barrier and could NOT see it, we were walking with a friend who can confirm that my wife walked straight into the horizontal bar - she could have been knocked out by the impact but has been suffered significant bruising and swelling on her face. The image attached was taken with an iphone in night mode, so it tried to make the image lighter, the other is of my wife. I suggest you get in contact with us or we will take the matter further.
