Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Recently as the County Councillor for Burswin road, Carterton I was contacted by a resident regarding recent repairs that have taken place in Burswin Road. I have today visited her and done a walk around to witness her concerns. Her main complaint is regarding the quality of the repairs that have been done and the fact that surfaces are not level and that it is in small parts already failing. It shows exactly the same issues that were observed when Lawton Avenue and Arkell Avenue in Carterton were badly patched up had to be redone! My observation would be that the Job was rushed and short cuts taken. Was this a contractor working to a price ? Could I suggest a member of your team do a site visit to ensure that you are content with the standards delivered by the works team.
