Woeful conditions along B4044
Reported via mobile in the Grass and Hedges category anonymously at 23:29, Friday 30 July 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Ref: B4044 between Eynsham roundabout and Swinford Toll Bridge.
The pavement and road conditions along this stretch are dangerous and have been for a very long time.
The hedges and grass along the pavement are restricting access to less than 50% and in some places pushing pedestrians into the road. Hedges and trees need cutting back - properly. The pavement needs to be cleared back to the edge and beyond on the ground.
The hedges along the road towards Eynsham are physically growing in the road. Proof can be observed by the disappearance of the white line at the edge of the highway. This is pushing large vehicles across the middle of the road into oncoming traffic.
Dangerous and poor maintenance.
