Water backing up in surface water drains and flooding the road and pavement

This reopens reports which I have made, most recently in January, February and June (Council ref: ENQ21897980). There appears to be a blockage or substantial restriction in the drain line between the gullies outside No 5 (identified asset) and outside No 7 Benson Place. In heavy rain this causes substantial flooding of the road outside Nos 4, 5, 6. I understand that is is not a County problem, and believe that it is not a City problem; I believe that the affected line is a Thames Water asset. The gullies do not require cleaning. Those upstream from No5 are all well connected and were delivering large amounts of water to the surface in tonight's rain. Those downstream from No7 were taking water and keeping up with the torrent. However the water upstream of the blockage this evening backed up above the level of the road between Nos 3 and 4, so that substantial fountains of water were coming out of the gullies at Nos 4 and 5, and water was coming out of the inspection chamber near the corner of the road. The resulting surface flow was deep enough to breach the kerbline, and to cross the camber of the road. (It also backed up into the private drainworks of the Benson Place estate to within a few inches of the surface.) The surface flooding lasted for about an hour after the end of the substantial rain tonight. I have been reporting this particular issue with the drainage for over six months (it seems to be what remains of a problem which has been running for over a year). As far as I can see the only effect of my reports has been a succession of fruitless gully cleaning visits from ODS. Please can you ensure some progress is made with the actual problem.
