Following information regarding the presence of possible giant hogweed in the village on the corner of Lower Road and Weir Lane, I have come across what could possibly be the same on Station Road in Blackthorn between the A41 and Weir Lane. The ditch itself is in desperate need of clearing but if this is Giant Hogweed the need for clearing may have become greater. This maybe worth checking whilst in the village checking the first reported case.
