Hedges overgrown restricting footpath. Also footpath is restricted dues to verge forming from crud silt and soil. Needs clearing please

The issue is the entire length between bean court road and Mortimer court

Thank you for your report. I have visited the site you pinpointed on the map, the stretch of footway, on Cumnor Hill, from Dean Court Road to Mortimer Court, see photos, and assessed the issue you have identified.
I can confirm that this vegetation overgrowing and obstructing the footway is private vegetation, growing from, and the responsibility of, the owners of the adjacent properties. I have requested a letter be sent to these owners, asking them to cut back their vegetation, within 28 days of receipt.
In reply to your comment regarding the 'crud silt and soil' on the footway. This issue is not the responsibility of Oxfordshire County Council. Street cleaning (including 'crud silt and soil' caused by the decomposing fallen leaves etc.) of the footway and carriageway is the responsibility of the Vale of White Horse District Council.
