Shellingford road speed bumps needed

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and West Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later
Shellingford road has recently been opened as building works have been completed. The road has been adopted by the council and I am asking that speed bumps are installed on the road. The road can be used as a “rat run” now it’s fully opened as it misses out the roundabout by camp and the traffic lights by colerne road. Cars have already been trying to cut through when it was closed and I’m worried that they will go down here at speed to cut through. Even more so, there is a park nearby and a lot of children play out so there is a risk that one of the children may get hit by a car speeding down the road.

The maps that are available to Oxfordshire County Council do not show Shellingford Road as being adopted. The adopted section stops just after the electricity sub station, at the end of Abingdon Road.
