On Wednesday evening a tractor caught fire and the Fire service attended and put some drain mats over the gulleys to stop the water from their hoses draining away. The fire chief told me that Highways would be along to clear the debris. I believe that Highways might have been along, but they is still glass on the side of the road, BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY THE MATS REMAIN IN PLACE AND WHEN IT RAINS THE WATER WILL HAVE NOWHERE TO GO AND THUS SHELLINGFORD CROSSROADS WILL FLOOD
