Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
There is a hedge in front of number 45 that is now gotten out of control, it is so overgrown and is higher than the house, you cannot see anything. The school has confirmed the roots are outside their boundary.
However, there is also a Tree in the school grounds and this is the same issue but nothing is being done about it

I have asked the highways to look at this issue due to the scale of the problem. When I have spoken to the school previously, they have stated that the hedge roots are on the street so are not there problem. The hedge has now grown as tall as my house which as you can see is out of control and becoming an area for locals to dump waste. It has had one large branch break on to my fence in the bad weather which we dispose of. I have spoken to both schools in the past about the tree they said we could trim it, but as can be seen this would need to be done professionally and to an extend it would damage the trees look. This is a tree far to close to our property, we have offered to replace it with another tree place in a more suitable area, this has not been answered! It is now well over our boundary and roots I believe lifting our side path and branches nearly at our bedroom. This is not the view that we had when we bought the house. Due to lack of maintenance from the responsible parties this has now got to a point where someone has to take responsibility. I have now got to a point that it is effecting my health and causing me stress. I look forward to hearing from you and hope that we can agree a soloution to this issue. Mrs Joanne Brownjohn
