Grass growing very high

The grass on the verges are really high , if driving you cannot see any road signs or marking until you get there.

Also a big health issue that is affecting the residents near , and on Grundy Crescent

  • Thank you for your report. I have visited the site you pinpointed on the map, in front of 27-29 The Avenue, see photos. I have assessed the issue that you have identified. The vision splays at the junctions of Grundy Close are clear with clear visibility along the Avenue so there are no safety issues. It looks like some of the grass verge has already been cut. Please note, however, that if this is not the case, urban verge grass cutting is one cut per year. This grass cutting program extends well into September. Also note that with grass cutting we have to take into consideration Environmental/Biodiversity as well as safety issues, safety, however, being our primary concern. I am therefore closing this report.
