Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
There is an abundance of Himalayan Balsam in Yarnton Lane between the level crossing and the second entrance to the old sewage works. Most is on the sewage works side, however, there is also some on the opposite side especially near the crossing. This needs to be attended to as amatter of urgency as it is in flower at the moment and will shed its seeds up to two metres when the pods shatter. Could I suggest that this is trimmed off immediately with a flail and then sprayed with a suitable selective herbicide in a couple of weeks time. I farm the land on the opposite side to the sewage works and do not wish to see it spread onto farmland.
