  • Thank you for your report. I have visited the site you pinpointed on the map, by 5 links Road, see photos. and assessed the issue you have identified. The vegetation overgrowing the footway, from this property is not overgrowing it enough, and therefore doesn't meet our current intervention criteria, so no action will be taken. As all of the vegetation, overgrowing the footway and highway, is growing from this property and not the small section of Oxfordshire County Council highway verge, the property owner is responsible for it. We would normally issue the property owner with a notice to cut it back and not cut it back for them. If the property owner wishes to have it cut back they should engage the services of a gardener. I am therefore closing this report.
    We will continue to monitor this site during our routine inspections. If you notice that the issue gets worse, please open a new report.
